Formed at the beginning of 2001, the Lugg Valley Company of Archers is a fledgling group of archers for Hereford and the surrounding area. Current membership, comprising seniors and juniors, amounts to a couple of dozen archers of varying levels of ability. Our club supports target archery and the equipment employed is mostly recurve and longbow.
Our aim is to encourage and develop the sport in all its forms, and to make it available to anyone wishing to experience archery. Introductory courses are held for new members under the supervision of qualified coaches.
Facilities
Indoor shooting - held during winter and spring at Withington Village Hall on Thursday evenings, and at Bromyard Bowmen's Hall on one evening per month.
Outdoor shooting - held at Mordiford Village School ground on Sunday mornings all year round, and on Thursday evenings during summer and autumn.
